Problems arise, however, when Veta herself is mistakenly assumed to be on the verge of lunacy and committed! The mix-ups continue as everyone searches for Elwood who is searching the lost Harvey. Friends, doctors and even the audience seem to be strangely affected by Elwood's mild-manner delusion.
